In the West Gallery, the Art Guild of Pacifica is offering a group show with the theme Frame of Mind. Artists were welcomed to interpret the theme delving into how moods, thoughts, or feelings develop ones mental attitude or outlook, how art can evoke a certain time – or could take a more literal interpretation with art-framed within or outside of the piece.

| There are 50 pieces in the exhibition with work in fiber, clay, assemblage, printmaking, watercolor – oil – acrylic paintings, jewelry and more. In addition to this eclectic array of artworks, the Art Guild will also offer small artworks and art cards for purchase (cash/check).

| The Art Guild holds four themed exhibitions a year, plus an annual members' show, and a holiday show and sale each December.
Sanchez Art Center is located at 1220 Linda Mar Blvd in Pacifica, about a mile east of Highway 1. Following opening night, the galleries are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1–5 pm, and by appointment, through June 28.
The opening, talks, and gallery visits are free as part of the Center's focus on "Creating Community through Art". |
