The Sanchez Art Center Ceramics Studio is available for lease! There are two small rooms, one of which contains a minimally used 7 cubic foot Cress kiln, a large wedging table, and has room for 4 electric wheels. The other room is currently used for hand-building and drying.

We envision the space as a kind of “timeshare” which could be rented to a minimum of 2 artists up to several, depending on scheduling arrangements. All artists must formally apply and participate in our usual studio artist selection process. However, pre-formed groups are welcome to apply. If you don’t have a ceramic buddy, or don’t want to share, please don’t let that stop you from applying. We are open to all possibilities.

The space will be available in January. Total rent is $500 per month plus utilities for kiln electrical usage, and a total of 96 service hours contributed to Art Center activities annually. New occupants would also be welcome to use the existing supplies of low-fire glaze and clay, at no charge. Think of it as a Welcome Wagon gift!
